People called it Situ Bagendit. Situ means lake and Bagendit is adapted from Nyi Endit's named. And now, Situ Bagendit become one of the tourism object in Garut. The village was disappeared. The thing that left was a wide and deep lake. The lake was named Situ Bagendit. Situ means a wide lake.
